In April 1994, Hitachi group employed the consolidated management system led by Hitachi, Ltd. With this management reform, we build the consolidation-based environmental management system to promote environmental activity of Hitachi group and carry it out.
Hitachi industrial products group discusses environmental targets in Environment Committee. The committee considers environmental vision of Hitachi group and Hitachi environment innovation 2050 in making environmental targets. The Environmental Committee consists of Environmental department head who integrates the environmental activity of the group, Environmental manager and Environment management person of main works and subsidiaries. The president makes decisions based on the result that the committee discussed, and we promote the environmental activity.
In addition, to promote environmental activity environmental management system based on ISO14001 is established and acquire the certification by the outside certification organization.
We wrestle by environmental activity for the achievement of "Hitachi environment innovation 2050" as a member of the Hitachi group.
